Arrows: A team that competed in F1 for 24-years

A flashback of Arrows team that competed in F1 for 24-years from 1978 to 2002 with 394 in their pocket.

The team was founded back in 1997 by the Italian businessman Ambrosio, a three months later they entered in F1.

Arrows had many great drivers during their years in Formula One, like Gerhardt Berger, Ricardo Patrese, Marc Surer, Jos Verstappen and both champions Jacques Villeneuve and Damon Hill.

However, the team never won a Grand Prix but they managed to be on podiums for nine times and scoring 164 points for all those years.

The best race finish came in 1997 by Damon Hill securing 2nd place behind the world champion Jacques Villeneuve.

Damon Hill left Williams a year after becoming F1 champion in 1996, but the car didn’t perform as he expected to defend his title in 1997.
