FLASHBACK: F1 Fly By Monza – 2005 V10 350 km/h

2005, Monza – Italy. The race was held on 4 september back in 2005 at Monza and it was 15th race of the 2005 season.

Juan Pablo Montoya was a polesitter – the man who was just unstoppable that weekend, also won the race in style.

Renault drivers finished in P2 with Fernando Alonso and Giancarlo Fisichella managed to take P3. Followed by Kimi Raikkonen who had 10-grid penalty after changing his engine, also Pizzonia scored his last points in his career at Monza, finishing P5 driving for Williams BMW.

Kimi took the pole position but he received a 10-place grid penalty for changin engine and he was demoted to 11th on the grid. Montoya on the other hand, led every lap during the race finishing 2.5 seconds ahead of Fernando Alonso.
