Former F1 driver and seven-time world champion has received the Nurburgring Lifetime Achievement Award and it was Sabine Kehm who accepted the award.
It was held back in 2016, with more than 300 guests and it was an evening full of emotions, as Michael didn’t attended the ceremony, everyone misses him.
Sabine Kehm said after the award was received: “A lifetime award is something really special.”
“Michael Schumacher as a racer, he really deserved it as he did everything right.”
“This award is a confirmation for him as a driver, it confirms his talent and his extraordinary discipline.”
However, not only in Germany, but he is a legend for every fan around the world, especially for the Italian fans, the tiffosi, who still miss him.
Michael Schumacher is a seven-time world champion, twice with Benetton team and five with Scuderia Ferrari.
