Next team for Mick Schumacher? Where he will drive in 2023

The four-time world champion Sebastian Vettel who announced his retirement from F1 last week, wanted his compatriot Mick Schumacher to take his seat at Aston Martin.

A surprise came a few days later that Aston Martin signed the two-time world champion Fernando Alonso for 2023 and 2024.

Staying with Haas team?

Lately he has shown his qualities that he is capable to fight against great drivers, but it looks like there is only one option for him next season, Haas team.

Mick Schumacher will negotiate with the team in the next few weeks to stay at the team… but what if a better team knocks the door to sign him?

What next for Mick Schumacher?

His uncle Ralf Schumacher told to Sky Deutcheland: “Aston Martin would have been a good option for Mick.”

But now it’s all over at Aston Martin. But yet, there are few opportunities – A free seat at Alpine, but also Toro Rosso’s driver Tsunoda future is in doubt at the team.

Helmut Marko were asked if the team wants to sign Mick if Tsunoda does not reach an agreement, he replied: “Tsunoda hasn’t been decided yet, but he remains a priority for our team”

“We haven’t had any talks with Mick, at the moment he is Ferrari junior.” he concluded.

Mick’s future in F1 isn’t in doubt, a Ferrari seat would be free in a year or two, Mick would be the No.1 to drive for the team.
